Every coin and dollar bill in our pockets has a phrase stamped on it: "In God We Trust." We see this phrase so frequently that it often fades into the background. However, today's Scriptures encourage us to take those words from our currency and instill them in our hearts. While it's easy to carry the phrase, truly living by it amidst life's ups and downs is much more challenging.

“I myself will search for my sheep and look after them.” (Ezekiel 34:11) “The sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out…he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.” (John 10:3-4)

“Moreover, some women of our group astounded us…” Luke 24:24 “When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, 'Brothers, what shall we do?” Acts 2:37

“Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.” (John 20:29) “Although you have not seen him, you love him…you believe in him, and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy.” (1 Peter 3:8)

“If you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above.” (Colossians 3:1) “Do not be afraid… He is not here; he has risen” (Matthew 16:5-6)

“This day shall be a day of remembrance for you. You shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord…you shall observe it as a perpetual ordinance." (Exodus 12:14) “Do this…in remembrance of me...For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes." (1 Corinthians 11:26)
