“Since then, you have been raised with Christ; set your hearts on things above…” “And whatever you do… do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus” Colossians 3:1,17 “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves…and follow me.” Matthew 16:24

“For in him all things were created…and in him all things hold together.” Col. 1:16-17 “Through him all things were made… In him was life…” John 1:3-4

The root of the righteous is immovable…is productive (Proverbs 12:3, 12) “Give your servant a receptive heart… to discern between good and evil.” 1 Kings 3:9 “Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Matthew 7:24

I welcome you to this last Sunday of the year 2025! It has been a challenging journey for many of us. This year has been a mix of sadness and joy.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given…And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 “But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news… Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.” Luke 10 -11

Experience Christ's birth!

“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my whole being shall exult in my God.” Isaiah 61:10 “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” Luke 1:46,47

I will come to you for judgment; I will quickly testify against those who exploit the hired workers, the widow, and the orphan, and those who neglect the foreigner” (Malachi 3:5). The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.’ “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” (Matthew 3:2,3).

In the days to come... they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift sword against nation; neither shall they learn war anymore. Is. 2:4 “But about that day or hour no one knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but only the Father. Beware, keep alert.” Mark 13:32-33

Make a joyful noise to the LORD…For the Lord is good. Psalm 100, 1,5 Then Jesus asked, “Were not ten made clean? So where are the other nine? Luke 17:17

“Your prayers and your alms have ascended as a memorial before God. Acts 10:4

“Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.” (Ruth 1:16) “This poor widow has put in more than all the others…she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.” (Luke 21:3-4).

“So, we rebuilt the wall… for the people worked with all their heart” (Nehemiah 4:6) “We ourselves boast about you… for your steadfastness and faith (2 Thessalonians 1:4)

“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” Matthew 16:18

Good morning, Grace Church! Those two words, grace and church, carry a lot of meaning and varied connotations.
