SPECIAL RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM (SPRED).
Our commitment to inclusivity extends into all areas of our ministry. For more than 30 years, Grace Church has sponsored the Special Religious Education Program, or SPRED. Through this program, we partner with adult residents of Park Forest with developmental disabilities, currently supporting five individuals. The mutual benefits of the friendships formed are truly a gift.
ALL GOD'S CHILDREN
God's love is for all of us, and we are honored to support members of our community with a welcoming and loving environment. Our SPRED friends and their church sponsors meet monthly for an evening of worship, conversation, singing, games, and refreshments. When possible they participate in other church services and activities, providing a sense of belonging to the Grace community of faith.
